Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
— 1 Peter 3:21

Baptism is the first of the sacraments of initiation. In Baptism, the Holy Spirit moves us to answer Christ's call to holiness. We are asked to walk by the light of Christ and to trust in His wisdom. We are invited to submit our hearts to Christ with ever deeper love.

How to Register

For Children: Parents may register their child for baptism by contacting the Parish Center at (973) 338-9190. Pre-baptism meetings must be attended prior to the celebration of the sacrament and Godparents must be fully initiated in the Catholic faith and present a Certificate of Eligibility.
